I don’t know if ya’ll have been following Aubrey’s twitter lately…but just about 3 days ago, Aubrey, Shanell (D.Wood’s sister), and Grammy award winning producer Maestro, were in the studio recording a remake to the 80′s hit “Party All The Time” by Sharam. They also did a live stream while in the studio, unfortunately I wasn’t up to watch it. Luckily, some members on AOD were able to catch it and here are some interesting snippets. Aubrey told fans that she still “talks to all 4 girls of DK— oops I mean 3″ (HAHAH), and that everything is OK between Aundrea and her. Her magazine cover shoots shes been doing will come out in September and October and she will be starting a brand new movie after her run with Peepshow ends. Aubrey has also been hard at work trying to launch the new line of Heart on my Sleeve which will include shirts for her straight male fans (always trying to please everyone :D)! Those were some new info as to what she has planned for us in the feature…besides that, she sang snippets of “Poetry” and gave some advice to Shanell while she was recording in the studio.
In the meanwhile, Maestro is hard at work trying to edit the track and hopefully we will get to hear it soon. All Aubrey fans should tweet him to post it soon!!
Check out Aubrey in the latest issue of InTouch Magazine which she did back in May. From what I can see, it looks like its about celebrities and their pets. I’ll be heading to the store tomorrow to see if I can pick it up. For now check out the MQ picture by click the image above. Thanks to Sweety_AOD for the image!

When Diddy kicked Danity Kane member Aubrey O’Day of his MTV show, Making the Band, rumors circulated her trash-tastic style was to sexy for the group’s young fans. So when the singer, 25, arrived at the photo shoot wearing ripped jeans and sky-high heels, she said she was ready to soften her signature look for the new season. “I want to be ‘reborn’,” said the star. With help from celeb colorist Rita Hazan and the glam squad at her NYC salon — reveals the secret behind the transformation.

JustJared.com: “In this society we’re all taught to cover ourselves and our thoughts up,” the 25-year-old former Danity Kane member says. “Nudity is a beautiful thing.” The self-proclaimed ‘bad girl’, who is featured in an 8-page nude pictorial, gives some details about her sex life. She tells the mag, “I’ve done it in cabs, clubs, everywhere. I want to be that girl who gives a guy the best sex he has ever had, the sex he’ll never be able to get out of his head.” But while she enjoys her status as a sex symbol, Aubrey insists, “Most of the stuff you’ve read about me is made up, and the best stuff about me you have yet to find out. I’m more of a catch than anybody realizes.”
It’s hardly news that Aubrey O’Day — former member of Danity Kane and reigning bad girl of the pop universe — posed for Playboy back in November. O’Day shot the spread with photographer Markus Klinko, and the issue hits stands this Friday. But so far, O’Day hasn’t spoken in-depth about the shoot, or revealed why she decided to pose for the magazine. Until now, that is.
“You could never imagine how empowering it is to be nude in front of cameras and have people looking at you in that way and seeing you as beautiful,” she told MTV News. “You’re seeing yourself as beautiful. I mean, a lot of the times I think I’m seen as a bad girl, and I think that’s because I’m so open.” O’Day said that she agreed to the pictorial only after the magazine made Klinko available. He’s snapped portraits of everyone from Mariah Carey to Pamela Anderson, in addition to the cover of Beyoncé’s 2003 album Dangerously In Love, and O’Day knew he’d make her Playboy spread something to remember.
“I only agreed to do it because [Markus] was shooting it,” she said. “He is unbelievably amazing. He agreed with me that we needed to do something classy, iconic and truly beautiful. I mean, I think a lot of the type of way I’m portrayed in the media isn’t always the way I am in my heart. And I think that we were able to capture that with [this shoot]. It’s going to be very elegant, very iconic,” she emphasized. “We wanted to do something very beautiful and classic. And I’m very excited about, just in general, how liberating the shoot was and how great it’s going to be to express myself and be comfortable with my sexuality. I think in society we tend to put ourselves in boxes and corners and restrict ourselves, and we constantly feel the need to not say this or not wear this … and taking it all off and being nude is the most natural state that you can be in.”
And what does she think her detractors will say about the Playboy spread? Well, to be honest, she doesn’t really care. Because she’s not listening. “I’m always gonna be true, whether people like it or not. I’m just gonna be me. I’m gonna be real. I’m not gonna do anything because people want me to. I’m not gonna hide something about me,” she laughed. “I think people are scared to be who they are, and if anybody’s gonna go out there and let everybody know, ‘Be who you are … no judgment here,’ it’s gonna be me.” Stay tuned for more from Aubrey O’Day — including photos and video from her Playboy shoot — coming soon!

Between talking about her high-profile split from Danity Kane and addressing the recent rumors about her sexual preferences, Aubrey O’Day has been all about displaying her personal life in a very public fashion lately. But for the singer, who was kicked out of the group for allegedly hogging the spotlight with her over-the-top antics, those mini-dramas pale when compared with her upcoming photo spread in the March issue of Playboy magazine. While spokespeople for the magazine refused to confirm the shoot when news about it first broke in late November, O’Day spoke freely with MTV News about the images.
“I’ve done the cover of Playboy,” she said late in December. “You know, I think that Playboy for me was one of the most liberating things that I’ve done as a woman.” Scanning the pics on her Macbook laptop while chilling in Costa Mesa, California, O’Day showed off the results of her session with photographer Markus Klinko, who has done portraits of Mariah Carey and Pamela Anderson in the past and who shot the cover of Beyoncé’s 2003 album, Dangerously In Love. Taken amid sessions for her solo debut, O’Day said she was surprised at the negative repercussions from her earlier, revealing shoot for Complex magazine, which is reported to have played a role in Diddy’s decision to drop O’Day from the group.
I had to post this, she looks gorgeous . Here is D. Woods featured in Supermodels Unlimited Magazine shot by Rodney Young for the Nov/Dec 2008 issue. I also included some on set photos. Click the images below to view.
Get ready to see a lot more of Aubrey O’Day! The former Danity King singer will grace the cover of the March issue of Playboy she confirms exclusively to Usmagazine.com.
“I’m honored to be a part of the Playboy legacy and look forward to my March cover hitting newsstands on February 13,” O’Day tells Us.
O’ Day’s Playboy debut follows the February Girls Next Door farewell issue, which features Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt, and Kendra Wilkinson, in a special three-cover release. Can’t wait to see the spread.
New York News Daily: Aubrey O’Day, formerly of girl band Danity Kane, has allegedly received $500,000 to “bare her backside” in a photoshoot for the March cover of Playboy. Rumors of the singer stripping off for the popular erotic magazine started in November and now an insider claims O’Day took up an offer made by Playboy owner Hugh Hefner. “Aubrey’s making about $500,000 to drop trou. For that kind of money, she was like ‘Why not?’” a source tells the New York Daily News.
Markus Klinko just uploaded some on set pictures of his photoshoot he did with Aubrey back in November, that was rumored to be for Playboy. Still no official confirmation on whether this is true or not (but we’re guessing it is), but there is one thing that can be confirmed….there were several baby lions on the set, adorable! MTV.com: It’s not as if you didn’t see this coming, what with her recent eye-popping photo spread in Complex magazine and her very public ousting from Danity Kane last month. It appears that Aubrey O’Day has posed for Playboy. Citing its “spies,” TMZ reported that O’Day spent Tuesday in a Manhattan photo studio shooting a spread for the magazine with celebrity photographer Markus Klinko, who has snapped portraits of Mariah Carey and Pamela Anderson, and shot the cover of Beyoncé’s 2003 album Dangerously in Love. According to TMZ, O’Day’s Playboy shoot may feature several lion cubs. A spokesperson for Playboy told MTV News that the magazine could not confirm or comment on the photo shoot. Attempts to contact a rep for O’Day were unsuccessful by press time.
Danity Kane fans were torn when O’Day and D. Woods were booted from the group by mastermind Sean “Diddy” Combs during the live season-three finale of “Making the Band 4.” Some agreed with Diddy that O’Day’s self-promotion was distracting from the group, while others declared her their favorite member. In the days following O’Day’s dismissal, remaining DK members Dawn Richard and Shannon Bex both gave interviews. While Bex played nice, Richard didn’t, singling out O’Day’s Complex shoot and her risque image as the reasons she was kicked out of the group. “We had just did a signing with Dollhouse Teen, which is for 13-, 14-year-old young girls,” Richard told UsMagazine.com. “So, we can’t do that one day and then the next day do an obnoxious cover. … [Diddy] wants the fans, and he says he can’t do that if we continue to go in the direction that we were going.”
With All Due Respect to the other girls in Danity Kane, it’s easy to see why Diddy built his group around Aubrey O’Day. Simply put, Aubrey is that chick: the stunner who attracts paparazzi and Broadway1 producers alike, and the talent least likely to fall into the post-reality-show abyss2. But with great attention comes great hate. Aubrey’s also the only Kane girl to be dubbed a “slore,” to have her every outfit ridiculed, and to be romantically linked with Diddy (all on the always-accurate and ever- compassionate intarwebs).
So, to put it in Complex terms: Is Aubrey O’Day a wifey or a trifey? Predictably, the answer is, well, complex. The 24-year-old is well-traveled and smart enough to have pursued law school3, but silly enough to use a portrait of herself as her phone’s screensaver. She talks a great game about having sex, but you can tell she’s more into making love4. And she’s passionate about both her AIDS charity and porn. It’s a blurry line between her envelope-pushing “character,” and the real O’Day. In short, she’s a lady that you’ll probably want to get to know better.

PailSpringsLife.com: The media portray members of the all-girl band Danity Kane as little more than sex kittens with a vocal register. In fact, lead singer Aubrey O’Day can hardly stop talking about the upcoming election. “It’s so important,” she says, going on to talk at length about charity work she has done around the world for children with AIDS, battered women, refugees, and other causes. The La Quinta native, launched to fame by the MTV reality show Making the Band, realizes the dichotomy of her life. “Everybody thinks they know who I am based on the show,” she says. Like other reality programming, it relies on drama (with a capital D) and ego winning out over true human emotion. “I’d see something that wasn’t real, because obviously reality TV isn’t reality. Something was edited wrong and I’d think, ‘No, that’s not the way it happened!’ I used to take it so personally. Now I realize it’s just entertainment. It’s not personal. It took me being around other powerful females in the [entertainment] industry that are very secure and very criticized to get there.”
